Elected as Associate Vice President (Labour) and Chair of the GSA’s Labour Relations Committee by academically employed graduate students at the University of Calgary

Responsible for representing graduate students in labour relations with the university, including initiating and filing formal grievances on behalf of individuals and groups and leading the committee to make decisions regarding policy grievances

Initiated the project idea and reached out to co-planners to develop a Number Theory summer school with a view to EDI
Helped prepare successful proposal to Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS) for funding
Acted as student mentor for working groups and project organizer during the summer school.

Mentor top scholarship applicants to improve the written sections of their applications and to endorse themselves better
Provide support during scholarship application workshops

Part of team whose goal is to create a policy statement around league inclusivity and a framework to address harassment and discrimination
Committee purpose was to create the league’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee to address particular issues affecting the league related to trans-inclusivity and treatment of indigenous players
